Director
Aslam realised a lifelong ambition when he acquired Moorfields in 2014, establishing a high street agency built on experience, integrity, and results. With over 26 years in the property industry, he brings a wealth of expertise gained from running multiple successful lettings businesses.
Alongside leading the company, Aslam manages his own property portfolio in sought-after areas of Bristol, giving him a practical, hands-on understanding of the market from an investor’s perspective. This real-world insight allows him to offer clear, informed advice to clients at every stage of their property journey.
Marcus Chapman
Branch Manager
Marcus brings a strong operational backbone to the business, with over sixteen years of experience in the property industry. His background includes managing teams delivering property management services to letting agents across the UK, giving him a broad and practical understanding of the industry.
As Branch Manager, Marcus oversees the day-to-day running of both the lettings and sales departments. From carrying out valuations and onboarding new properties to supporting the team, he plays a key role in ensuring a smooth, efficient experience for both landlords and tenants.
ARLA qualified, Marcus combines technical knowledge with a hands-on approach, helping keep transactions on track from start to finish.
Joe Mitchell
Sales Manager
Joe joined Moorfields in 2016 from a well-established agency in Wiltshire, bringing with him a strong track record across a wide range of property sales scenarios. From first-time buyers to more complex transactions, his experience allows him to adapt his approach to suit each client and situation.
With a clear understanding of the pressures and decisions involved in moving, Joe is known for reading his clients’ needs and guiding them through the sales process with confidence and clarity. His honest, proactive style helps build trust quickly, ensuring buyers and sellers feel supported at every stage.

Laura Chichester
Lettings Specialist
With a background in sales, Laura has a strong skill set which has seamlessly transferred to the property industry making her an extremely valued member of the team. Laura oversees all things in the lettings department but also gets involved with sales when needed. She has a bubbly, kind nature which makes her very popular with Landlords and Tenants alike. Laura is married with two children and when she is not running round for her family, she enjoys jogging, horse riding and socialising with friends.
Gareth Barnett
Property Consultant
Gareth has been working in estate agency for over 36 years, valuing, selling and letting properties throughout Bristol with most of his focus being in Hanham and surrounding areas. Gareth was previously the owner of successful high street agents Barnetts who were a prominent agent in Hanham for over 40 years until being acquired by Moorfields in 2017 as part of their continual expansion. When not working, Gareth is associated with several local sports clubs.
